The World Tour lands in Expo Greater Amsterdam

De AI, Data, & Trust Revolution is the theme of this year’s Salesforce World Tour, that visited theNetherlands on April 18. This years marks the first time CloseContact attended as part of Deloitte Digital, which we joined in March. Deloitte Digital was the event’s Innovator Sponsor. 

The opening keynote speech taught us more about the state of AI for business. Although we are still close to the Peak of Inflated Expectations, accoring to the Gartner Hype Cycle, the Trough of Disillusionment is looming. But according to Ed Thompson, SVP Global Influencer Strategy at Salesforce, we should persevere! In the near future, it will all turn out well for AI for business. Salesforce Einstein 1 is leading the way, because of its buitl-in safety features.

Ben Woldring from Bencom, famous for comparison sites like and and Véronique van Houwelingen from KLM explained how they already make use of AI possibilities.

Our Solution Architect Daniëlle Smit presented the second morning session on the Ecosystem Stage, talking about the life cycle marketing we execute with KLM in Marketing Cloud. She focused on the successful win-back and retention communication.

In other sessions, our clients Kamer van Koophandel (Chamber of Commerce) and Gemeente Amsterdam presented their interesting cases.

Traditionally, the Campground is where you can hang out, familiarise yourself with the Salesforce platform and network with Salesforce Partners in the Sponsor booths.
